DESIGN NOTES
Hugh D'Andrade from the EFF reached out to me, which I was thrilled about. The Electronic Frontier Foundation is one of my long-standing charitable recipients, and the work they do is both essentially and vanishingly in the current world. Hugh and I had worked together closely on Robots+Monsters, and I respect the hell out of the guy: when he told me that EFF would like to hire me to design one of EFF's teeshirts for their yearly DEFCON presence, I was over the moon.
Designing for the EFF and DEFCON is a fairly intimidating affair. We're talking about actual spooks, criminals, and both white and black hackers. How does one make a teeshirt that is bad ass enough to satisfy that audience?
Answer: glow in the dark ink. Duh.
You can read about the project on the EFF website here.
