I’m really pleased to officially release the final art for the EFF teeshirt I’ve been working on for their DEFCON offering this year. Check out the glow in the dark action here. From their press release:

Robots + Monsters is open again, and we once again got Boinged! Thanks so much for all your love, BBers!

The good people at io9 were kind enough to not only mention that Robots + Monsters has reopened, but they’ve also linked to some of my concept art for the possible upcoming R+M book. Totally cool. Thanks, geeks!

This Sunday, Molly and I completed the SF marathon, all 26.2 miles of it, and for the next 2 days, I had to go down the stairs backwards.

Except that’s not a joke. I really did.

Regardless, I want to thank everyone who came out and showed us support, who wrote us emails and text messages the night before, and especially everyone who donated to our fund raising drive for the SF AIDS Foundation. Thanks to all of your donations, between the personal stuff and the Robots and Monsters efforts, we managed to raise a jaw-dropping $11,890.00 in the fight against AIDS. Thanks again to everyone out there that put in their time, money and love to help us with the project. You guys all totally effing rule.

Speaking of which, as always, there’s more robots and monsters. Slowly but surely, I’m plugging away at that list. If you’ve ordered one, and you want to know where you are on the list and when can expect yours, just drop me an email and I’ll see what I can figure out.

Just quick note to let you everyone know that this summer, I’ll be running the 2007 San Francisco Marathon in support of the fight against AIDS, here at home and in the developing world. Molly, who I’ll be doing this with, and I, have committed to raising 3600 dollars by April 27th to this effort. While you maybe don’t know anyone personally with this terrible disease, you know someone that does. And I’ll be damned if I let some stupid virus push the human race around.
