The People’s Bailout
It made my heart glad that the unstoppable Astra Taylor asked me to create this graphic for Occupy’s newest effort, The Rolling Jubilee. Sure, it’s an amazing idea, and I hope it works in the way it should, shifting some weight off the backs of those with so little already. But on a personal level, it means a lot to me: my recent travels and responsibilities, while glorious, have made me feel disassociated from the important thinking and working that I think is being done in NYC and elsewhere in regards to questioning our current financial system. I’m glad my art can still contribute, in some small way.
